Dr. Stephanie Byrket received a B.S. in Biology from Montana State University in 1998 and later her DVM from Colorado State University in 2003. She then moved home to Helena, MT and opened her own practice working with cats, dogs, horses, and the occasional goat. Four years later, she decided to move on in order to find a practice where she could better utilize her current skills and develop new ones. After a short time in Bozeman, MT, she joined Avenues Pet Clinic. Here she enjoys working with clients and their pets and has a special interest in nutrition. In the future, Dr. Byrket hopes to become certified in animal chiropractic.
Dr. Byrket's medical passion is small animals, but in her spare time, she also pursues her love of horses. She has a percheron/thoroughbred mare named Sundi that she is training in dressage and jumping. They also enjoy mountain rides and moving cows. Dr. Byrket studies natural horsemanship and enjoys learning how to work with her horse to compete as a team. She also enjoys just hanging out with her three cats and one dog.
